"Accurate diagnosis is the foundation for a successful outcome. Understanding a patient's needs by listening with an empathetic ear and designing an individualised treatment plan is essential for patients to return to their optimal functional level."

Sedisha has been working as a physiotherapist for over 14 years, having qualified with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (magna cum laude) at the University of Durban, Westville before completing her Masters in Advanced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at the prestigious King’s College, London.

She has published research in South Africa and was involved in a UK based study to develop a tool to help physiotherapists disseminate research for the effective treatment of chronic lower back pain. She peer reviews current research, as well as being involved in teaching and mentoring on the Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy (OMT) post graduate course.

Sedisha has extensive experience in private practice treating conditions ranging from post-operative cases both elective and traumatic, with a focus on end stage rehabilitation both elite and novice sport. She has worked with numerous athletes in multiple sports including rugby, soccer and cricket.

She has a special interest in the Neurophysiology of acute and chronic pain and the implications of stress on the general well-being of a person and how this stress can manifest in physical pain but originate from a chemical, sometimes hormonal imbalance.
